![]() ![]() I really do not understand why they didn’t just set things up the way the comic had it. Not only does this rob Sasha of a really important moment of glory, the plan didn't even make logical sense. So while the end result is the same, how the comic and the show got to the same point was very different, and while I often say the show makes superior decisions, this is not one of those times. What is Sasha’s plan here? Charge into a fortress she cannot navigate filled with more men than she can kill in order to assassinate a guy she will almost certainly never reach? It’s insane.ĪMC apparently thought Sasha’s failure was such a foregone conclusion that they didn’t bother pretending like she had any sort of chance at success inside, as they’ve already released stills/clips that show her captured an imprisoned in what looks like Daryl’s old cell. The entire plan was based around having the sniper rifle, which, let me tell you, does not make for a great closed-quarters weapon, despite what Call of Duty would have you believe. At worst, they should have camped out there and waited for Negan to come back out again. This secondary back-up plan of infiltrating the Savior base by herself is ludicrous. But past this, once Sasha tried to take the shot, but couldn’t, that should have been it. ![]()
